USER FAQ'S

Q: I'm having trouble downloading the images, what's the deal?

A: Click the thumbnail to see the full size picture. After the full sized picture has completely loaded hold down the mouse button and select Save to Disk or Save Image... If this does not work, try simply dragging the picture to your hard drive icon.

Q: I have downloaded the pictures but they are all fuzzy, what might be the problem?

A: You may have accidentally downloaded the thumbnails, you need to make sure to load the full sized image and then download it. Another reason may be that the pictures resolution is smaller than your monitors, larger resolution pictures will look better. Try using other wallpaper software to help you automatically scale the screens to your monitor- we suggest Caledos for PC and Decor for Mac.

Q: An image is copywrited or I know the author, what should I do?

A: E-mail Us. It is important to us that the proper people get credit for their work. We will either add the author or remove the image depending on the situation.

Q:I am having trouble with one of the software packages downloaded from Desktopia, what can I do?

A: Desktopia does not create the software, please try searching the Internet for the homegpage of the software maker, they can offer you the best support for their own products. We don't wish to send you away but we also want you to get the best help possible for the answers you seek.

Q: I submitted a screen, why wasn't it added?

A: It maybe just a matter of time before it is added, sometimes it take several days to a week before we are caught up with incoming emails. We have a small staff, please be patient. If a screen is rejected, we will generally let you know why. Reasons may include poor quality, blatant nudity, poor resolution, etc. We try not to pass too much judgment since we don't always know what our visitors want. Don't be afraid to send your screens because you don't think they are good enough.

Q: I have a suggestion for your site, will you consider it?

A: Of course, we are always looking for input from users to make the site better for everyone.
